Our time together will uncover the layers of your whys and leave you living more deeply into your life and your values.
Why Me?
My own personal history and lived experience, together with my training in Theater of the Oppressed, Mindfulness, countless workshops and trainings with many teachers, as well as the Coach Diversity Institute, and a commitment to my own growth — give me the skills to create learning and healing spaces for others to do the necessary work for cultural change.
In our everyday experiences, trauma and oppressive moments occur. Thoughtfully facilitated actions can recall these moments while Mindfulness guides the process for folks to stay engaged in the conversation and tend to what arises among us. What unfolds is an experience of authentic self-inquiry, community-building and collective accountability. Reflective feedback from participants often highlights awareness of triggers, ability to stay engaged while witnessing and moving through discomfort, and gain valued insights that can be addressed.
What Is Coaching?
Coaching is a designed alliance that helps to bring out the best in you and helps to achieve your desired results in their career and in life by engaging with a diversity coach. As a Professional Diversity based Coach, we will use a mindfulness and racial equity lens in achieving those goals and coming back to your own belonging.
What is NOT Coaching?
Remember that this is not simply advice, consulting, counseling or therapy. This is a holistic and co-created way to get you to where you want to go. We won’t be examining what you don’t want — only what you do, and how we get you there.
Sometimes, we feel like we are only surviving — coaching is meant to make you mindful about not how to survive — but being mindful about how to thrive.
